So today was our first day with our teacher, Mrs. Parker. We talked about how to monitor our bluebirds boxes and what was safest for not only ourselves but the birds. This is what we found: Box One Here at Box 1 there has been no change in the past week. We see a new nest made and hope to see the birds and some eggs soon. It looks like the bluebirds might have built new nesting material on top of the old nest that was already there. |
Box Two:
Today in Box 2, we saw some feathers and it looks like a bird is in the process of building a nest. We are excited to visit this nest next week and hope to see a bird or any eggs soon.

Box 3 There was nothing in the box. We believe it is empty since it is in a spot where black snakes are located. We do not expect there will be birds because of this. But let's keep our fingers crossed that we are wrong. Box 4 There was no animal activity, but there is a nest. Box 5 There is a large feather and there is a nest but no birds. |
