Text to Film
Winter Seminar
Do you love a good story? Do you picture that story as you read? Do you think it would look the same if it became a movie? This group is designed to take a comparative look at stories that originated as books and subsequently were turned into movies. Students will need to acquire a copy of the book from the library or bookstore. After reading the book, students will then attend Broadhurst Cinemas where we will watch and analyze the differences and similarities in the feature film. A commitment to independent or family reading is a must for this group. A parent signature verifying your completion of the book will be your "ticket" to the Broadhurst Cinema!
Coming Soon: Book/Movie list (to be determined by participants)
